GM Robert Hess recently turned in a strong performance at the 2009 Alois Nagler Memorial by finishing tied for 5th with 6.5 points out of a possible 9 (only 1 point behind the winner). Officially, he is listed as having tied for 10th based on tie-break points.
The event was held from August 9 -15, 2009, held in Zurich, Switzerland. It had 272 participants, 128 which were titled players. Forty-five of the titled players were grandmasters. You may view all games at 2009 Zurich.
